Old Trinity Episcopal Church - Janesville, Wisconsin Very early image (1860s?) of Trinity Episcopal Church's original building on the near-west side of Janesville, Wisconsin. Note the pre-Victorian 'Gothic' architecture that was later revised in the 1870s-80s.

Christ Church and Rectory - 1859-1919 In 1859, Christ Church, was established on the east side of the river. This congregation's church building was located on the present day Church grounds, located on the corner of North Wisconsin Avenue and East Court Street. Interior of the old Trinity Episcopal Church before remodeling Interior of the old Trinity Episcopal Church on the corner of Laurel and North Jackson Streets in Janesville before "the remodeling" (no date given, but pre-1880). Note the 'gas-lamp' wall lighting fixtures and chandeliers. Appears to be Eastertime due to presence of lilies in Baptismal Font (white pedestal object on left under banners with flowers in it). This solid marble (and extremely heavy) font is still in use by the present day Trinity Episcopal Church for baptism of our newest members.

Interior of the old Trinity Episcopal Church after remodeling Interior of the old Trinity Episcopal Church on the corner of Laurel and North Jackson Streets in Janesville after "the remodeling" (no date given, but after 1880). Note the 'gas-lamp' chandeliers. This photo appears to be during the Christmas Season based on the wreaths and evergreen garlands present.

Trinity Complex 1960's Trinity Complex 1960's - Church building is on the left. Building in the middle (present day Office Building) was the "Rectory" where the priest and his family lived. Ronald Ortmayer who was the priest from the late 50's through the early 70's.
